Nuval Philippine Temptations - Filipino Chicken or Pork Adobo (Breakfast Steak)


Ingredients:

  • One(1) pound Chicken quarters or Pork tenderloin
  • One(1) cup water
  • One(1) cup distilled vinigar
  • Half(1/2) cup soy sauce
  • One(1) Garlic clove pealed and crushed
  • Half(1/2) teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Two(2) Bay Leaves
  • Two(2) tablespoon cooking oil or olive oil
  • Put all the ingredients except the soy sauce and oil in a casserole
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for about 30 minutes
  • Put in the soy sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes
  • Remove the meat from the casserole to a plate
  • Remove the sauce to a separate bowl
  • Put the oil in the casserole and brown the meat
  • Start Plating for display and service but without the sauce
  • Return the sauce back in the casserole
  • Simmer until sauce thicken
  • Drizzle with a spoon the sauce on the Chicken or Pork for service
