Nuval Original Recipe - Salmon Sunrise


  • Clean and Thaw Pink Salmon
  • Take 3 oranges and cut in half
  • Squeeze oranges on Salmon and insure juices spread evenly throughout
  • Sprinkle lemon pepper lightly and evenly on Salmon with Skin side down


  • Heat Char broiler on High Heat
  • Take Pink Salmon and place on Char broiler with skin up to create char marks
  • Once nice defined Charbroiled marks are achieved take Salmon off and let it rest.


  • Place Salmon on oven pan and cover with foil
  • Let cook for approximately 15 to 20 min depending on thickness and size or until when you cut it the salmon pieces just flake off


  • While salmon is cooking take any residual oranges into a sauce pan with a cup of water and let boil to extract juices
  • Strain oranges from sauce pan and add 2 table spoon of sugar and let boil
  • Have cornstarch and water mixture of 4 table spoon cornstarch with 1/2 cup water set aside and thoroughly mixed together
  • Once sauce has boiled remove from heat and pour cornstarch mixture to get a nice orange glaze to top and dress salmon


  • Once Salmon is done, remove from oven and let it rest for 2 to 3 min and plate
  • Place a nice portion in the middle of plate and top the salmon with orange glaze and finish it off with a touch of fresh parsley for garnish and serve
