Nuval Original Recipe - Sesame Shrimp attop seasoned Farfalle Pasta


Ingredients:

  • 1 box Farfalle Noodles (1lbs)
  • Chicken Quarter (x3 pieces)
  • Pealed and Deveined Shrimp (1lbs)
  • Sesame Oil
  • Soy Sauce
  • Salt
  • Corn Starch
  • Crushed Red Peppers
  • Garlic
  • Fresh Broccoli spears
  • Fresh Carrots
  • Fresh Red or Green Peppers or Both
  • Sweet Italian Wine
  • Place four(4) cups of water and the Chicken quarters in a medium size pot
  • Add one(1) cup of Sweet Italian wine
  • Add one(1) teaspoon of salt and two(2) minced garlic cloves
  • Boil for approximately 5 to 10 min until chicken is falling apart
  • Strain Chicken and save the water into a medium size pot
  • Heat up chicken broth to a boil and add two(2) tablespoons of sesame oil and one(1) lbs (equal to one box) of FarFalle Pasta
  • Do Not overcook pasta! Make sure they are “Al dente” (been cooked so as to be firm but not hard)
  • This process will take approximately 10 to 15 min


  • * NOTE *
    Once you strain the pasta, put 2 table spoons of sesame oil on the pasta so that they do not stick to each other
  • Create your Sesame Sauce in a sauce pan:
  • Two(2) tablespoons soy sauce
  • One(1) teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • One forth(1/4) teaspoon sesame oil
  • One and a half(1 ½) teaspoons water
  • One(1) teaspoon Sweet Italian wine


  • Add all above ingredients together in a sauce pan and bring to a boil
  • In a small bowl add:
  • One(1)tablespoon corn starch
  • Half(1/2) cup water


  • Once the Sesame Sauce comes to a boil, slowly add your corn starch mixture in to thicken it up slightly until you have a nice smooth glaze paste


  • * NOTE *
    You can pre-make your Sesame sauce ahead of time and set it aside or even a day in advance and freeze it
  • Take the Shrimp and put into a fry pan with one forth(1/4) cup Sweet Italian wine with one(1) teaspoon sesame oil
  • Simmer Shrimp and let sauce reduce. Do not over cook shrimp.


  • Julienne cut the carrots, peppers, and broccoli
  • Season a fry pan with two(2) cloves minced garlic and two(2)teaspoons of sesame oil
  • Add the vegetables and a pinch of salt
  • Do not fully cook the vegetables since they keep on cooking after you plate them
  • Cook vegetables until hot but crispy
  • Add the shrimp and your Sesame sauce
  • Mix thoroughly and remove from heat
  • Place a bed of pasta and put one cup of Sesame Shrimp on top and enjoy!!
